Saturday 15th, January 2011, Sermon by Pastor Lazarus

WORKERS SEMINAR

Testimonies vol 2,
where were the God fearing men, in times of test, and those who uphold the standard.
The work of God calls for men, of strong purpose who can lay down selfish interest for the cross and the
crown.
Luke 17 vs 7 - 10- Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, 'Come along now and sit down to eat'? Would he not rather say, 'Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink'? Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, 'We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.'"
In Israel there was slavery,
In the verse Jesus spoke on what was happening in Israel, but as Christians we are privileged for the son of God came down served us and gave us the honor of dining with him, but we should also work and do the work that we have been instructed to do..
Our God is the cross of Christ and the crown of Christ.

Workers in the city should read the 10th and 11th chapters of Hebrews
and understand how work is.
Because of our selfishness our prayers fail to be answered. Therefore we as the people who do work for the Lord to take His message to all people and Nations we should lay our own selfish interests aside and do the work of the Lord our God as we are directed to do
